Hymenoplasty in Chandigarh
Hymenoplasty, also known as hymen reconstruction surgery is a surgical procedure where repair or reconstruction of hymenis done.

What is Hymen?
Hymen is a thin membrane that partially covers the vaginal opening. During sexual intercourse it gets broken. In some cultures and religions, an intact hymen is associated with virginity and purity.
How the procedure is done?
(1) The process begins with a consultation with a a plastic surgeon. The patient's medical history and reasons for the surgery are discussed.
(2) Pre-operative instructions typically include avoiding certain medications, stopping smoking, and preparation of local area that means hair should be shaved off
(3) Surgery: The procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia and typically lasts between 30 minutes to an hour. The surgeon stitches the remnants of the hymen together using dissolvable sutures.
(4) Patient can go home after half an hour
(5) Post operative instructions: Patient should avoid to drive two wheeler for 15 days and to avoid dance,aerobics,gym,yoga for one month. To take antibiotics and pain killers for 5 days post operatively. To maintain local hygiene using vaginal wash.
(6) Ideal time for surgery: There should be atleast a gap of one month between procedure and marriage but u can get it done even years before your marriage, only thing there should not be intercourse before marriage
(7) It is totally safe procedure, there won't be any problem regarding pregnancy or delivery
